Green Thumb is a national organization that provides older workers with limited incomes, training and employment opportunities. In Louisiana Green Thumb served over 400 Green Thumbers last year, providing over 230,000 hours of valuable community services in 300+ local, state, municipal and nonprofit agencies.

Green Thumb provides services in the parishes of Acadia, Allen, Avoyelles, Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Caldwell, Catahoula, Claiborne, Concordia, DeSoto, E. Carroll, Evangeline, Franklin, Grant, Jackson, LaSalle, Lincoln, Madison, Morehouse, Natchitoches, Ouachita, Rapides, Red River, Richland, Sabine, St. Landry, Tensas, Union, Vermillion, Vernon, Webster, W. Carroll and Winn.

We can provide employers with reliable workers, tempr or perm, part or full time, subsidized (qualifiying agencies) or unsubsidized. We can also provide individuals with on-the-job or classroom skills training, work experience training to get back into the workforce, or direct employment.
